INSTRUCTION HOURLY RATE

GROUND/FLIGHT $65

STUDENT OWNED AIRPLANE $75

CANCELLATION POLICY: Pilots must cancel rental flights and/or lessons with their flight instructor at least 24 hours prior to any scheduled flight or a one hour flight and/or instruction fee will be billed to your account. If you have a legitimate emergency need to cancel there is no charge to you. Please be accountable for the reservations you make and plan accordingly. Aircraft are difficult to reschedule inside of 24 hours. Thank you for understanding.

REFUND POLICY: There are NO REFUNDS in block time purchases. Students are responsible to fly off ALL flight time and maintain a 180-day flight currency with us once payment is received. If we do not hear from you in that time the account will be closed and any balance might be fore-fitted.

New Heights Aviation Payment Policy

At New Heights Aviation, we are committed to providing our students and clients with clear and convenient payment options for all our services, including flight training, aircraft rental, and maintenance services. Our payment policy is designed to ensure transparency and ease throughout your journey with us.

Payment Options

We accept a variety of payment methods for your convenience:

  • Cash

  • Checks

  • Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)

  • Electronic Payments (Zelle, CashApp, Venmo)

Payment Terms

  • Flight Training and Aircraft Rental: Payment is due at the end of each lesson or rental period. Pre-payment options are available for those who wish to deposit funds in advance towards their training or rental time.

  • Maintenance Services: Payment for maintenance services is due upon completion of work and receipt of the invoice. A detailed estimate will be provided for approval before any work begins.

  • Ground School Classes: The one-time fee for ground school classes is due at the time of registration.

While we offer the same rates whether you pay in advance or after each lesson, pre-paying for flight training or aircraft rental can help streamline your scheduling process and ensure that funds are always available for your next session.

Cancellation Policy

To respect the time of our instructors and maintenance staff, we kindly request a 24-hour notice for any cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee equivalent to one hour of the scheduled service.

Refunds

Pre-paid funds for flight training, aircraft rental, or ground school classes are refundable, minus any services already rendered. Maintenance service deposits are refundable based on the percentage of work completed at the time of cancellation.

Late Payments

Invoices for maintenance services are considered late if not paid within 10 days of issuance. A monthly late fee of 1.5% of the outstanding balance may be applied to late payments.
